MISSISSAUGA, ON — After months of on-line research and much appreciated advice from some experienced “bent” riders in California, I opted for the closest thing to a LWB Easy Rider available in this neck of the woods: the Bacchetta “Bella” ATT.
I’ve been riding “Mia Bella” daily for the last week now and the experience is everything I imagined from the written descriptions I’ve been able to find on recumbents to date.
Rear racks, Schwalbe Marathon 20 x 1.5 in. front tire (to match the 26 x 1.75 in. rear tire already installed), water bottle stays, cyclometer, maybe under-seat racks, panniers, a few odds-and-ends, plus more practice miles and I think we’ll be ready for most any two-wheeled HPV adventure.
I’m experiencing a second childhood and every sunny day feels like Christmas!
